The Undertaker will have a “final farewell” at 2020’s Survivor Series, which was the beginning of the Deadman’s career. 30 years ago, the man called the Undertaker was introduced as part of the Million Dollar Man Ted DiBiase’s Survivor Series team. Soon after his debut, Undertaker became a WWE mainstay and eventually a professional wrestling icon.
However, the man behind the macabre identity, Mark Calloway, is ready for his last ride. Earlier this year, Calloway said in the WWE Undertaker documentary series that he’s prepared himself for the inevitable retirement and has found peace in that. During his WWE career, he is a former Royal Rumble winner, a seven-time World Heavyweight Champion, a Hardcore Champion, and a multi-time Tag Team Champion. He also holds the greatest Wrestlemania record, which was part of the now-legendary Streak.
The WWE Network will air 30 Years of The Deadman throughout November, including recently debuted documentaries Meeting The Undertaker and WWE Untold: The Phenom and The Legend Killer, which went in-depth about Randy Orton and Undertaker’s feud from 2005.
