Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate is out now, and with it comes a substantial amount of new content to developer NetherRealm’s 2019 fighting game. In addition to the base game, the Ultimate edition also includes the Aftermath campaign and all previously released DLC fighters. This release also the content from the standalone DLC Kombat Pack 2, which adds Edenian warrior Rain, grizzled war veteran John Rambo, and Kitana’s toothy clone Mileena to the game.
For newcomers, this version of Mortal Kombat 11 has a roster of 37 fighters in total. This includes the 25 characters that the game originally came with and the following warriors from Kombat Pack 1: Shang Tsung, The Terminator, Nightwolf, Sindel, The Joker, and Spawn. Mortal Kombat 11 Ultimate also includes all the new stages that were released and Friendship finishers.
This collection of content will also make its way to PS5, Xbox Series X, and Series S, and no matter which console platform you’re playing Mortal Kombat 11 on, you’ll be able to fight your friends and perform gruesome Fatality finishers on them thanks to “Kross Generation” technology. This feature will sadly not make its way to the Nintendo Switch or PC versions of the game.
