Actor Paul Rudd has been a star for decades, from his early roles in the slasher sequel Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers and the ’90s teen classic Clueless to more recent comedy hits such as I Love You Man and Role Models. But for many viewers, especially younger ones, Rudd is best known for his hilarious portrayal of Scott Lang–aka Ant-Man–in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. So who better to call when you need a big name to provide a voiceover for a documentary series about ants, bees, frogs, and other little creatures?
The show is titled Tiny World, and it’s set to arrive on Apple TV+ on October 2. According to Apple, the series will “spotlight small creatures and the extraordinary things they do to survive,” and will be narrated by Rudd. From the look of the first trailer, it will feature some absolutely spectacular close-up photography of a wide range of tiny beasts. Check out the Tiny World trailer below.
Apple TV+ launched in November last year, and while it doesn’t have as much content as rivals Netflix or HBO Max, the service continues to add shows and movies. The Tom Hanks war movie Greyhound hit the service in June, and other upcoming releases include the epic sci-fi drama Foundation and a Billie Eilish documentary, for which the company paid $25 million.
